MaryJo will cover the foundational elements of creating a gorgeous background using cube stamps.
She’ll cover the paper, inks, and what type of stamps to look for, when getting started. No Pre-Registration Required.

Supplies to bring: Paper and pen for notes.

Noon to 2 PM Saturday

Wire Working 101 - with Linda Hanson of After Midnight Art Stamps

In this workshop we will explore differences in wire gages and types of wire, as well as basic tools. Everyone will practice some simple wire wrapping techniques, learn how to make jump rings, wire caged beads, a simple hook and eye clasp, spirals, bead connectors, how to flatten wire, how to twist wire and more, time permitting. You will take home all the things you make in class for samples or you can put them together to create a piece of jewelry or embellishment. All wire, beads and items for wrapping will be furnished.

Supplies student need to bring: Small flat nose pliers, small round nose pliers, small chain nose pliers and flush cutters. Fire Mountain has a very inexpensive set which also contains a basic wire cutter for approximately $16.00 plus shipping.
